In the current version, the article mentions 3-dA ("for example, 3-dA can trigger the premature termination of mRNA synthesis"). What is 3-dA?

A possibility: It looks a little as if 3-dA may be an abbreviation of 3'-deoxyadenosine, which is mentioned in the opening words of the article as an alternative term for cordycepin. If so it would seem right to mention 3-dA in the same place - thus:

   Cordycepin, or 3'-deoxyadenosine, 3-dA, is a derivative of the nucleoside adenosine
