Russel Brand

Russel Brand is unabashedly a conspiracy theorist. Though it does not currently state this in the start of his wikepedia page, it is supported by reliable sources including just taking a look at his youtube channel. The neutrality of his page is disputed and written from an overly positive POV so I hardly think it's a reliable source to go off of. Lord Beesus (talk) 03:18, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

Currently, I believe describing him this way using one source is a violation of Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. You must back up a claim like this with a preponderance of reliable sources. In addition, his own article should reflect this description. Thriley (talk) 19:40, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
Multiple sources describe Brand as a conspiracy theorist. I think it's pretty clear. Politicdude (talk) 02:30, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

South Carolina?

Do we have any polling for the early primary states? 36.11.224.182 (talk) 02:37, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

I don't think we have any polls of the green party primary. Politicdude (talk) 02:31, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

CNN Interview

The placement of the July Anderson Cooper interview has been the topic of a borderline edit war for a while now. Placing the interview in the spoiler controversies section is not useful because that section is meant to give a general picture of what is happening. Giving an entire paragraph to a single interview on that topic is a violation of Wikipedia:UNDUE and does not add anything to the article. Politicdude (talk) 02:35, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

United Citizens Party

This party seems to be a bit of ghost when it comes to any official announcements. In the 2020 election, the party had supposedly nominated Howie Hawkins. But no information could be sourced.

I'd suggest adding a [better source needed] tag considering the past behavior, as the only source comes from West's campaign themselves and no mention elsewhere. Tipsyfishing (talk) 19:09, 29 February 2024 (UTC)

Cornel West: VP?

Do we have information on who Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D.'s vice presidential candidate is at the moment? I'm currently searching for one on his website (link) and so far haven't found a VP announcement Madamepestilence (talk) 04:03, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

Edit: As of April 10, 2024, Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D. selected Dr. Melina Abdullah as his Vice President for the Cornel West 2024 campaign. Special thanks to an untitled user just going by their IP address apparently for adding the new contribution. Madamepestilence (talk) 05:51, 11 April 2024 (UTC)

As of mid-January 2024, West has ballot access in these states

This map needs a legend. It shows the US states in 3 colors, gray, yellow and green, but does not identify the meaning of the colors. Arthur.Goldberg (talk) 11:56, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Yea, I'd have to agree with this. I'm not sure what Wyoming, Alabama, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or New Hampshire are meant to represent in this map without a key.
Dr. West's page reads Alaska, Oregon, South Carolina, and Utah as having ballot access, but I don't know if he's met the requirements for the aforementioned states in the sentence above.
I'm unsure, but I believe Dr. West also failed to meet the requirements for Idaho (VP required) before the deadline expired.
I'm unsure if Hawai'i's new party forming is valid considering this was also edging the deadline, and I haven't seen what party Dr. West is allegedly creating for Hawai'i, and the only new party I'm aware of is fascist RFKJ's We The People Party, which I'm unsure even got accepted. Madamepestilence (talk) 06:16, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
Hello! Recently, I changed the colors on the ballot access maps. Green means certified for ballot, Blue means they have petitioned for ballot qualification awaiting certification, Yellow means that any candidate can have their write-in votes counted without registration, and grey means no ballot access of any kind.
I previously only updated the legends on the primary 2024 ballot access page - I have updated this page's legend accordingly. Cheers, Longestview (talk) 00:16, 12 April 2024 (UTC)

The map does not match the details given in the legend and notes. I would fix it if I knew how and had the tools, but I don't. ~ MD Otley (talk) 02:14, 30 May 2024 (UTC)

inaccurate information

West does not support Israel (see “Political Positions”, last paragraph). i would argue that the list of policy positions would be better served with greater nuance.
