This article has lots of mistakes. It says that Moreno accused Saavedra of conspiracy. Guess what...Mariano Moreno died in 1811. But no, I won't change it. I might be violating copyrigth.--furgonero 22:28, 3 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Well-written:
  •   There were minor grammatical issues, but these were easily corrected as I examined it. Other than that, the article has good prose and structure. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 08:41, 21 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

    (a) the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct; and
    (b) it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.
  • Verifiable with no original research:
  •   The article cites reputable published sources, very frequently. No original research makes itself known. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 08:41, 21 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

    (a) it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline;
    (b) reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose); and
    (c) it contains no original research.
  • Broad in its coverage:
  •   The article's content is very rich and thorough, but nothing trivial is included. (a) it addresses the main aspects of the topic; and

    (b) it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
  • Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
  •   Saw nothing in the article which stood out as biased. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 08:41, 21 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
  •   The article has so far been edited only five times since 2011, and none of these edits appear to be involved in a dispute. Wilhelmina Will (talk) 08:00, 6 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
  •   All images currently illustrating the article are used appropriately, and have proper licenses associated with their usage here or anywhere in Wikipedia. Wilhelmina Will (talk) 09:39, 7 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

    (a) media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content;  and
    (b) media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.

    • 8 of the 9 images currently in use on this article checked out, but this last one, File:Busto de Cornelio Saavedra.JPG, was a little confusing. In the summary on the description page, it mentions that the uploader created the photograph, yet the license associated with the image claims its copyright has expired. If an image's creator uploads their work to Wikipedia, or Wikimedia Commons, don't they usually use a license like the one used here? Wilhelmina Will (talk) 10:15, 6 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Done There were two copyright aspects in there, the photo (which I took myself) and the bust itself. I had provided back then the most important copyright tag and forgot the other, it's fixed now. Cambalachero (talk) 12:02, 6 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Alrighty-then, image-wise the article checks out!... then of course, it's off to review the rest of it! Wilhelmina Will (talk) 09:38, 7 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

    Charges dropped

    edit

The Spanish version of this article says the charges against him were dropped in 1818, whereas the English page says 1815. Neither has a citation, so I'll try to find it in the sources. Burritok (talk) 21:55, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Update: changed the year on the English page to 1818 and added a reference. Burritok (talk) 23:16, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
