Oi Oi Oi
edit"There has been much involvement of Cornish Australians in sport over the years. Many playing rugby and cricket at an international level. This has led to the Cornish chant of "Oggie, Oggie, Oggie, Oi, Oi, Oi," taken on by all Australians as "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie."
That's a bit of a stretch and IMO not a realistic conclusion to make. The link given does not support the contention that a heavy involvement of Cornish-Australians was responsible for the Aussie Aussie Aussie chant. I'm thinking the average person hasn't the foggiest of its origins. Also "All Australians" is a stretch. Widespread is probably more accurate. Tigerman2005 (talk) 12:18, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
