We are aware that the wording on Cornish entries can sometimes be a contentious topic, especially those concerning geography. The article makes several references to "Cornish Choughs", is there really such a bird? The links provided are to chough, which tells us "breed(s) on mountains and coastal cliffs from the western coasts of Ireland and Britain east through southern Europe and North Africa to Central Asia, India and China," though it does mention it has links with the county.Serpren (talk) 01:50, 4 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but there is no such bird as a "Cornish chough", though there are choughs which breed in Cornwall, which is a different beast altogether. In fact, if one clicks on the Cornish chough link, it takes you, not to "Cornish choughs" but to red billed choughs.
