- Oppose - Let's stick with the regnal number scheme. GoodDay (talk) 17:21, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- Support - The article title should also include Matilda and be called "Coronations of William the Conqueror and Matilda". DDMS123 (talk) 21:16, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- Support - per WP:COMMON NAME, more known by his epithet than his regnal number, also consistent with William's page title. Ollieisanerd (talk) 07:36, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
Comment Since the article covers the coronations of both William as well as Matilda, should the title reflect this and include Matilda? It would be consistent with other coronation of monarch and queen consort articles such as the Coronation of Charles III and Camilla though this article differs as they were two separate events. - Support - William the Conqueror is his common name. Re the proposed renaming to reflect Matilda's coronation, her coronation was held at a later date, so the article presumably ought to be titled "Coronations of William the Conqueror and Matilda. --Hazhk (talk) 16:04, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
- Support - (sorry, changed my mind) considering the limited sources for Matilda's coronation, there's never going to be enough material for a stand-alone article, so "Coronations of William the Conqueror and Matilda" sounds good to me. Alansplodge (talk) 17:21, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
- Support "Coronations of William the Conqueror and Matilda" since the article covers both individuals. And we have to go with William's common name, which is "William the Conqueror". Keivan.fTalk 00:12, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
- Support with the addition of Matilda and using plural form to reflect different dates. --Killuminator (talk) 21:19, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
