Italian pronunciation
editCan anyone explain why the Italian pronunciation of Corte is written on the article? Thanks. Cymru123 19:00, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
- Becausze the official name (Corte) is still the Italian historical one, and that is its correct pronunciation. --Felisopus (talk) 11:37, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Climate
editThat climate chart is complete rubbish. It would be the driest place in Europe by some way if that were accurate! It's clearly for somewhere else with a similar name- the interior of Corsica has pine forests, not desert! Walshie79 (talk) 01:17, 9 March 2014 (UTC) Update: Suspect that the precipitation totals on the linked site are in inches, not centimetres- that would give a Mediterranean climate. Although the winter low temperatures still seem too high. Walshie79 (talk) 01:29, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
