Hello, I am an employee of Cory Environmental and I wish to update our company logo and correct some of the content and add new content to this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cory_Environmental . I have been told by the Wikipedia information team that I should use the article's talk page rather than edit the article directly. Please can someone tell me what I need to do. Thanks

Hi, thank you for acting properly. The best thing to do is post each piece of information, written neutrally, with an independant reliable source backing it up. Then editors can review the information and source and add it to the article. I believe you are allowed to update the logo yourself (provided your account is old enough to upload images). Happy editing! Happy Squirrel (talk) 12:45, 29 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

No it hasn't, Ross.Brown.Cory. A Redirect at the top of an existing article is not a merge (edit reverted). And, in any event, we normally allow at least a week for discussion of a potential merge (which would see existing content from one article imported, with attribution, to another) before actually undertaking the merger. You might wish to indicate on this Talk page whether you agree that the two articles might be merged. (PS: please be cautious about your own editing of Cory-related articles given your admitted COI. Good practice would be to suggest changes via the Talk pages, not to make edits direct.) Paul W (talk) 16:41, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
