Cosmas was not catholic, but a Greek monk (not a clergy!) born in Byzantine Sicily. His faith was always Orthodox. Who cares if it gets a low rating in the Catholicism portal, since you do not even know your own history? Please read, then think, and then rate! That hagiography in general is unreliable is nothing new, but John grew up with Cosmas and learnt his Greek thanks to Cosmas' teaching.
