Verify request
editI'm not sure what citations need to be added for an article based upon a primary source, but I have asked the editor who put the Verify tag up to indicate what in his/her opinion is possibly missing. 23skidoo 13:55, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
The way the article reads now it sound like OR - original research
editIt reads like a book review written by one person. You need some other sources to backup your opinions per WP:V which applies to all Wikipedia articles and is non negotiable. NLOleson 14:08, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- There's one line that seems POV (and I'll remove it presently) but the rest of it just seems to be a straightforward accounting of the book. The book, therefore, is the source. 23skidoo 15:27, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Since this article is about a primary source, I see no need for the verify tag to remain - otherwise the tag would have to be added to literally thousands of Wikipedia articles about non-fiction and fiction books, and there is nothing stated here that cannot be confirmed through the primary source; the fact the title of the book was changed slightly when Wilson wrote two sequels is a statement of fact supported by the existence of these two works, themselves primary sources for other articles. If the article had included POV statements or interpretations, that would be another matter, but no such content appears to be here. 23skidoo 16:47, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:CosmicTrigger1.jpg
editImage:CosmicTrigger1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Merge proposal
editWhile I've found plenty of sources discussing the first volume I have found zilch on volume II, and only a single piece of commentary on volume III. They do not pass NBOOK independently. As part of a whole thing, they should be merged as one. It wouldn't result in any content loss because there is nothing here except recounting what the book says, which can be easily merged. And probably renamed "cosmic trigger trilogy" or something. PARAKANYAA (talk) 02:51, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
- Makes sense, and Cosmic Trigger trilogy, with 'Cosmic Trigger' italicized, seems the most accurate title. Since Wilson titled all three books of his biographical series Cosmic Trigger, their relationship does form a coherent unit. Please merge well though, no loss of information and even additional data could form a nice result. Pinging Skyerise, who may have an interest in this discussion.
