Referenced from?
editI could be wrong, but it looks like some of this content may have been referenced from this document: https://www.benning.army.mil/fbhome/sites/cms/documents/DA%20Completed%20and%20Unattainable%20Issues.doc -- Ϫ 08:57, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Needs broadening
editThe article is exclusively about the US military, but the general concept of a cost-of-living allowance or adjustment (COLA) is used in many organizations and in many countries around the world. The article ignores the general concept for a highly specialized use of the term. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? --Jayron32 19:38, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- I just renamed the article to "Cost of Living Allowance (U.S. Military)". There is already an article about the Cost of living in a more general context. —BarrelProof (talk) 00:57, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
Source material to revise and broaden this article can be found at CONUS COLA and Overseas Cost of Living Allowances (COLA). — Senator2029 (talk) 14:47, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
