Choess,
- I'm not going to reverse the changes you made, but I don't agree. The format for a list of counts with the years in bold in front was copied by me from a French Wikipage and is much clearer than the one you seem to prefer. Please reconsider.
- The choice of surnames is a matter of taste too. When the county of Blois was owned by the house of Châtillon, both names were used. I used the format "Guy of Châtillon, count of Blois" in order to clearly distinguish the 2 dynasties. In the table in this article, all persons are count of Blois, so Guy of Châtillon suffices.
- Thanks for changing the articles Chatillon to Châtillo. I didn't know how to do that.
Dick Barnhoorn (married to a 'de Blois' who probably descends from John II of Châtillon :)
Succession after Stephen-Henry
editAccording to David Crouch ("The Reign of King Stephen") William became count when Stephen-Henry left for his second crusade. And it was not until 1107 that William was removed in favour of Theobald. Are there any sources that dispute this, in favour of the version you have here? --Tokle (talk) 10:39, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
