Court of High Commission after the Triennial Act
editThe article mentions that the Court of High Commission lasted from King Henry VIII's reign to 1689, but the article ends with the dissolution by the Triennial Act in 1641. Does this mean that the Triennial Act was eventually repealed and the Court of High Commission was reinstated until 1689? What caused the final end? A3ec6fYprq (talk) 03:10, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- I added some information on that, thanks for the suggestion! Notarealperson2 (talk) 20:02, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
Add Dates in First Sentence
editA suggestion: for context, you could add the years of King Henry’s reign in the first sentence. Or you could include who was king during 1689. CmisterHistorian (talk) 13:55, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- I added some, do you think that helped it? Notarealperson2 (talk) 19:54, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
Dissolving of the high court.
editI think your article could be substantiated if information about why the High Court was dissolved in 1641. Mia1199 (talk) 17:22, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the suggestion! I unfortunately could not find information on why the triennial act affected the court within the timeframe of the assignments completion date. The original addition for that section was left without a citation to begin with and I was tempted to eliminate it completely. Notarealperson2 (talk) 20:05, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
