Unreferenced and NPOV tags added

edit

I added an unreferenced tag due to there being no sources cited. Further, I also added a NPOV tag since it looks like the article was written from someones perspective rather than a neutral perspective. MastaFighta 17:42, 2 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree - the article was loaded with original research, including a suggestion as to which movie is an accurate representation of a US courtroom; (false) generalizations about how the media portrays courtrooms in the US; the (false) statement that UK courtrooms are usually orderly, and the resulting (false) implication that US courtrooms are usually chaotic; and speculation about certain US judges' reasons for wearing certain robes. None of this was sourced anyway, so I have removed it. I believe that the article is much more NPOV now, so I also removed that tag. Bry9000 (talk) 03:10, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

American courtroom photo

edit

Why does the section on US courtrooms have a picture of a Canadian courtroom? The court in the photo has a prisoner's dock which is unheard of in American courts. Canadian courtroom layouts have more in common with English courts than they do with American courts.
