Unclear Wording for Guido Latré

Regarding this sentence, Since the discovery of Guido Latré, in 1997, the printer has been identified... (emphasis added): This implies that something or someone named Guido Latré was discovered in 1997. I am assuming that something or someone was discovered by Guido, but I cannot find an easily-accessible source that tells me whether that is correct, or what that person discovered. Can someone with subject-matter expertise fix it, please, or possibly expand that phrase with more info? Cheers, Last1in (talk) 15:25, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
