  1. The lead, "Various types of crab preparations, species and superfamilies are used, and various additional ingredients may be used." Perhaps tighten a bit with something like, "Various types of crab preparations, species and superfamilies are used as are a variety of added ingredients."
  2. The subsection "Variations" is too short as a standalone and could be included under the main section "Ingredients" by incorporating the prose into the first paragraph. Add a few more seafood choices to "may incorporate other seafoods in addition to crab" besides just lobster.
    • Copy edited: removed the subsection header, consolidated content, and added information about surimi and shrimp, along with sources. Sources are rather scant in book and news searches, so there may not be much that is actually able to be added per available sources. North America1000 23:53, 15 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
  3. Align the images for balance:
    • This may not be the best way of going about it, per WP:MOSIM, where it states, "each image should be inside the major section to which it relates". For example, the images for the warm crab and lobster dip is in the Variations section where lobster is mentioned. Likewise, the images in the Preparation and service section are appropriate for that section. Also, per WP:GALLERY, gallery sections are discouraged compared to having images in the article body, "Images are typically interspersed individually throughout an article near the relevant text (see WP:MOSIMAGES)". Also, using co-aligning would cause the images in each section to extend beyond the sections, which is discouraged per WP:LAYIM. North America1000 23:42, 15 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
    • Northamerica1000, I would normally agree except for one thing - all the images are relevant to the entire article (439 words) rather than to a particular section, and one of the images is simply a close-up of another. I took the time to view the article on various monitors ranging from a 21" desktop to a 17" laptop down to a 15" desktop, an iPad, an iPhone 6+ and the smaller smart phone. On the smaller monitors (below 15"), the image layout is balanced but with larger monitors...(15"+) there's a slight issue with major white space but not a deal breaker. Since this is a GA review, not a FA review, it isn't a major issue because overall the article passes criteria as is, but if I may please impose on you to try one other arrangement to see what you think: remove :File:Crab dip.jpg|thumb|Close-up of crab dip, with a crab atop as a right aligned image and add it to your Crab dip variations gallery. Doing so eliminates the gap (empty space) that shows up on larger monitors while still maintaining balance on smaller monitors. Atsme📞📧 00:40, 16 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
  4. The following sentence is redundant - Commercially mass-produced crab dips are also produced. Suggestion: Commercially mass-produced crab dips are available and expand with a bit more information, such as where and to whom - wholesale or retail.
  5. You might want to expand a bit on the history/origin of these crab dip recipes if such RS exist.

While the nominator is tending to the above suggestions, I'm off to the store to buy the ingredients needed to make some crab dip along with some crackers to put it on. Wonder if Ruffles Potato Chips would be a good compliment? Atsme📞📧 22:19, 15 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
