Hold on a second
editIs this article being deleted for "notability"? don't make me laugh! everyone who's been into indie music knows that with Sleigh Bells this band has been the biggest buzz band of last year. Their singles have been reviewed by many music critics, especially the ones from Pitchfork Media, they have a page at Allmusic.com, Spin recently picked them as their buzz band and even make a small post and review of lead single Boyfriend. Pitchfork recently picked the track as Best New Music, they're touring receiving attention. So wait... what is you guys excuse? is this being deleted because they're not being played on radio? Sorry, but this album will be released in 2 weeks, i just did what someone would do one day: create an article about it. So do we have to wait, until the day it comes out? I don't think so... reviews are coming, i already posted one. Rolling Stone recently made a small portrait about them, it's on their website, i can post all the urls over here to prove my point. "Sun was High (So was I)" was picked as one of last year's greatest songs by Pitchfork. They have toured with many bands and made collaborations with Kid Cudi and Vampire Weekend. There are a lot of reasons to not delete this article!

All of this information have been slowly added into the article but we can't do anything if this is going to be deleted in a week. if this article is going to be deleted then i hope that in a near future when someone comes back and do another, you guys delete it too, cause it is a slap in the face delete something now and then "let it exist" later on... oh christ.Eguinho (talk) 15:25, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- Read WP:NSONG. The prod has nothing to do with the band, but with the notability of the song. Jimmy Pitt talk 14:41, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well it is not a song.. it is an album and the links talk not only about the band, but the upcoming album (which.. hum this one) and you'd know if you read them. this is a long awaited debut album, that is going to be released in 2 weeks, so do the maths... it is a week to delete, and a week later someone will do everything again, cause the album has been released and the press will give much more attention. so why delete? sorry... but this is wacko, you are just deleting cause it's not released yet or you never heard about them, but hey, they have fans, like me, who'll come to wikipedia and will want some info about them before buy the album, and i guess that having this article over here would help a lot.
