Tigella → Crescentina – it's true name, this is tigella, and your Crescentina is gnocco fritto. This argument is controversial among the Italians (Modena's name vs Bologna's name) but the name of Bologna is just a metonymy, Modena's name is correct, "crescentina(s) is cooked using the tigella(s)". I hope you understand my english. - Relisting comment - the situation seems quite confused. Crescentina is already an article, so obviously we need to do something with that before considering this move... is that really gnocco fritto? And then in Italian there are two articles, it:Crescentina modenese is this one, and then there's it:Gnocco fritto too. On balance I might be tempted to move this to Crescentina modenese to match the Italian, but would like to understand the situation better. — Amakuru (talk) 15:32, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: I have relisted this once again, to get an in-depth discussion, and broader consensus. —usernamekiran(talk) 20:32, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
- All regions of Italy do what they want with the names, more foods may have the same name, but what you know in its origin country (Modena) is called crescentina and there are no doubts. If you want look page of Consortium of protection http://www.crescentinadimodena.it/

- Move to Crescentina modenese, move Crescentina → Gnocco fritto, and make Crescentina be a disambiguation page to both this topic and gnocco fritto. That's the way the Italian Wikipedia sets it up, and I can't see a better way to do it. — Amakuru (talk) 15:52, 16 November 2017 (UTC)
- Support Amakuru's proposal. Seems sensible and the least confusing option. Jenks24 (talk) 02:15, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
