Improper use of time indications
editAt present the article reads The line was recently upgraded as part of the West Coast Main Line upgrade.
Leaving aside the upgrade as part of an upgrade, the "recently" was written in 2007 or earlier, nine years ago. It is important not to write material like this, or to use the present tense to say what is done "now" without dating it. Afterbrunel (talk) 11:13, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

Tracks
editIs the line 4 or 2 track? Was it 4 track and reduced? Etc, etc. 2.126.206.36 (talk) 08:16, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
- The line is 4 tracks as far as Adswood Road Jn, roughly 1.5 miles south of Stockport. It is then 2 tracks to Crewe, with a pair of Goods Loops at the South end of Chelford station. Whilst there are 4 tracks side-by-side from Sandbach to just outside Crewe, 2 of these are the Manchester Independent Goods lines, which avoid Crewe station. 81.133.157.60 (talk) 12:17, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
