I have created the article Crime Writers' Association of Great Britain before I found this one. Can we merge them? What name is preferred? I chose the full title as there may be other ones in the world. --Guinnog 11:02, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm actually going to merge the other way, as there seem to be far more links to the older article. Hope that's ok; obviously I take responsibility for fixing redirects. --Guinnog 11:47, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
I did the last (anonymous) edit -- apologies I should have logged in first. I removed the hyperlink to Robert Richardson as the current chair of the CWA is not the US cinematographer linked to here but the crime author. Clearly a disambiguation page is needed but I don't have the information to prepare it myself. Declaration of interest: the CWA pays me to maintain their website. R Cornwell 10:10, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Crossed Red Herring Award?
editI note that the Gold Award was called the 'Crossed Red Herring Award' at one time. Was this to do with sponsorship? What was the significance of the Red Herring? Valetude (talk) 20:16, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
Death?
editThe article says nothing about his (early) death, although the word 'death' appears many, many times in the very extensive list of his publications. 109.149.219.203 (talk) 20:41, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- Whose death? The article is about an organization of writers. Schazjmd (talk) 20:56, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
