End of the Interim office
editFor Antonescu end the interim holding of the Presidential office, the following has to occur, in this particular order:
- The Chamber of Deputies and the Senate are summoned to meet in a joint extraordinary session on 27 August 2012, around noon;
- The verdict of the Constitutional Court on the impeachment referendum has to be read to the houses by one of the constitutional judges;
- Parliament acknowledges the verdict by passing a motion;
- That motion is published by The Official Gazette under the signature of the official presiding the joint session (in this case Valeriu Zgonea, President of the Chamber of Deputies.
As one can see, there are a lot of variables to this procedure. So, it might be 27 August 2012 somewhere in Australia or New Zealand, but nobody knows what is going to happen once the sun rises for 27 August 2012 EEST! So please wait! in the mean time, he continues to be Interim President of Romania (or Acting President of Romania) as President of the Senate. --ES Vic (talk) 12:06, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
Interim President of Romania
editCrin Antonescu is no longer Interim President Of Romania, someone keeps changing it to President Of Romania witch is not true. He is the President Of the Senate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.26.140.192 (talk) 19:00, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- That someone will keep changing it back, because: 1. He (Crin Antonescu) held the official title of Interim President of Romania for the time stated there 10 July 2012 – 27 August 2012, like it or not. It is the same as for Nea Nicu. 2. If you read carefully, you will see that the infobox does not say he is the President of Romania. Note also that for the office of President of the Senate, the infobox reads INCUMBENT, which it does not read for the office of President. --ES Vic (talk) 19:42, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
He is not the acting President of Romania, the user that is changing it back is a Liberal Party member and is not writing the truth. If you go to the romanian version of wikipedia you will see that I am right and he is wrong. It did not say in the infobox because I changed it and reported it, but check now and you will see that is back to being "President of Romania". And plus, I am from Romania and I do know who the President is. ;) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.26.140.192 (talk) 19:56, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- I presume you do not know the meaning of "acting President of [whatever]". The infobox you keep "correcting" does not say he is interim president of Romania, but that he WAS interim President of Romania. If you haven't been sleeping through the summer, you must know he was interim (or Acting) President of Romania. the National Liberal Party member --ES Vic (talk) 20:07, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
Right below the picture it should say, President of the Senate (Acting) not President of Romania (Acting/Interim). You are not respecting the 5 pillars of wikipedia and you are not objective. I hope you will get banned from editing untruthful information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.26.140.192 (talk) 20:27, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- If that is the problem, who stopped you to make the full and correct change? Just removing half of what you consider misplaced information is no correction. --ES Vic (talk) 22:08, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
The first entry is the one with the CURRENT occupied position in the government not the previous, if you are so enlightened, make it so yourself, it's your article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.26.140.192 (talk) 08:19, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
I made the change myself with the correct order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.26.140.192 (talk) 08:30, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
- See, it was not that hard to make the full change! You must be a novice on Wikipedia, there is no such thing as "your article" unless it is your own user (sub)page. --ES Vic (talk) 12:18, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
