August 22, 2006 rewrite
editOn August 22, 2006, this article appears to have been entirely re-written by someone at NBC. The new version read like a press release touting Mr. Collinsworth's television accomplishments and promoting his return to NBC. It was very POV and so I reverted it. Just felt like I should leave a note here on the talk page explaining why I reverted the edit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ONUnicorn (talk • contribs) 19:52, 22 August 2006
I removed the part that said Tirico will work Thursday Night games. He won't.
editThe league said no to Tirico calling Thurs games. Which is a good thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:C498:4360:D0D9:7919:754F:4FDB (talk) 19:38, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

poor commentary quality during super bowl XLII
edithi all. I am not a regular wikipedia contributor so I am not sure if this is worthy of inclusion. I see in a lot of different media sources harsh criticism of Collinsworth's Color commentary in super bowl XLII, particularly potential bias towards the Patriots and complaining about the catch rules for two Eagles touchdowns. Given the size of the audience and stage of the game and the amount of media coverage I see, I thought it might be worth inclusion but figured i should ask her first. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.202.64.162 (talk) 16:53, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
- I agree, there should probably be a mention of Collinsworth's day at the Superbowl. However, any addition needs to follow Wikipedia's guidelines for biographies, which means that it must be fair, free of personal opinion, and well-sourced. I'd actually wait a few days as well, just to let the issue die down a little bit. Zeng8r (talk) 17:22, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
- Every time I listen to C. Collinsworth on Thursday night football he is bias and does not comment fairly. He is at it again this year!! Just saying! 9/7/23 69.18.254.154 (talk) 01:59, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
If anyone has any good commentary to add to this addition, let me know. I'm going to start putting together a few references and will post them here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.150.176.4 (talk) 13:52, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
Vandalism
editSomeone made a bunch of vulgar edits all over this page - I'm not a regular user, so I don't know how to mass revert these though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.18.23.243 (talk) 17:10, 5 January 2019 (UTC)

editSunday night football
I would have to say I really enjoy watching you broadcast Sunday night football and any other broadcast. It is an honor to do so, but I seen something on tonight’s broadcast. October 8 2023 I wanna keep it to myself and not tell my other NFL buddies it’s not that I only heard it, but it’s also the hand gestures and other things.. (Let’s go cowboys) Ps you just painted one SuperBowl team..if I bet on a team to win it all it’s the 49ers This year.. 2600:100B:B029:2942:24CF:A197:B9B4:EE14 (talk) 04:28, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
