Use of an actor to look like another actor
editIn this Wikipedia article and in "Back to the Future Part II" article is reference to Crispin Glover lawsuit and a resulting prohibition of such practice. I just saw that this would involve replacement of a living actor; permission can be granted for exception, to finish a film after an actor dies. Carlm0404 (talk) 02:23, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

I agree. The theory that he did this as a prescient and oddly-timed promo about a movie four years out from release... It doesn't hold water. It's a flattering theory for him; if it were true he'd have confirmed it. His silence speaks volumes. Ichthyosaur613 (talk) 05:35, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
Whoops, I commented this in the wrong place - don't know how to delete comments. Ichthyosaur613 (talk) 05:39, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
Late Night appearance
editThe whole section on Glover's Late Night Appearance lacks any sources to establish that Glover did his schtick on the show as part of a movie promo. The YouTube video of an interview with Glover does not establish this alternate narrative as Glover talks in circles and refuses to say anything definite. If this section was included on any other Wikipedia page it would be deleted for lack of a verifiable source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:E48B:B600:610F:800A:7597:7CF7 (talk) 11:39, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Note about the "air of mystery" lacking citation: that comes from an interview he did with Jimmy Kimmel, though, I don't know when. ~ the meccaneer (talk) 20:59, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
Trying again to post!

An objective article doesn't need to opine like that, of course, but it also doesn't need to uncritically pass along everything Glover says about this. Ichthyosaur613 (talk) 05:42, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
