Capitalization of "Historical"

Is there a reason "Historical" is capitalized in the article title and throughout? It's not normally a proper noun. Kansan (talk) 14:30, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

Improvement needed

Thanks for taking an interest in this topic. You are right that it is still very much a stub. What is important is that we present fully and from a NPOV the "criteria" that scholars use regarding authenticity and the historical Jesus, in an encyclopedic fashion. I have found Jesus of Nazareth by Maurice Casey particularly helpful. Since September I have been working on sources outside the New Testament. I am now about to shift my focus to the New Testament canon starting with the Gospel of Matthew. Ttherefore your work will be valuable. Thanks again. - Ret.Prof (talk) 14:03, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
