The page as it stands fails to mention that a completely new Commission was set up by the Crofters (Scotland) Acts of 1955 and 1961 and talks as though events in 1976 fell to the 1886 body. The new Crofting Commission, which is not a statutory commission but an executive body of the Scottish Government, has usurped the Crofters Commission Wiki pages.
