Smallest car ferry?
editIs this the smallest car ferry in the UK. The Good Shepherd IV only carries 12 passengers and one car. Perhaps the Cromarty Rose the smallest RORO ferry? i don't know it. The Good Shepherd needs a crane for the car.Tony Corsini 13:09, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with the Good Shepherd IV. The comment that it needs a crane for the car does tend to suggest that it is not a RORO - roll on, roll off - ferry. But yes, verification is needed for the Cromarty Rose.Pyrotec 18:33, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- The ferry operator's website makes the claim - link provided. CR is 13m in length, while GS4 is 18m. GS4 is a passenger/cargo vessel with no car deck - vehicles are carried as hold cargo. Finavon (talk) 22:51, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
