Article expansion
editI look forward to seeing info about the postcode, church and cemetery, distillery, station, battle and bridge. Laurel Bush 10:05, 21 July 2006 (UTC).
- "Christmas" has arrived. :-) Also four bridges for the price of
- one. P.S. I misdescribed the older parish info as "missing" as I
- thought I had already entered it, but upon checking I see it
- wasn't there to begin with.--MBRZ48 21:38, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Boundaries and boundary changes
editI read Cromdale is one of the ancient parishes which formed the combined ecclesiastical (later civil) parish of "Cromdale, Inverallan and Advie" in Morayshire in Scotland. Does this mean a parish of Cromdale was merged with two other parishes to form one larger parish? At present I am not really understanding the boundary changes described in the article. I do remember seeing something quite informative about Cromdale in Boundaries of Counties and Parishes in Scotland, Hay Shennan, 1892, but the copy I held has gone back to the National Library for Scotland.
