Move
editIn no way does the village (or, perhaps more properly, the collection of townlands) in County Kildare represent the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the term Crookstown. (That there are only a handful of links to this subject, and multiples of that to other meanings, would in itself seem to be "proof" of that. That I have had to correct multiple interwikis, backlinks, Commons entries and other associations recently would seem to make it clear that there is at least some expectation that "Crookstown" refers to the village in County Cork). Without getting into a "which is the more natural primary topic" discussion, I simply presume that they are both at least equally likely. And therefore propose to move this subject to the title Crookstown, County Kildare. And to make the Crookstown title a diambiguation page. Linking to, at least, Crookstown, County Kildare and Crookstown, County Cork. And probably a "see also" to Crookston. I do not see this as a controversial move. And so am not opening an RM. But am opening this thread. As a courtesy if nothing else. Unless there are other thoughts on how to address this, I will be progressing with this move in the coming days. - Resolved In the week or more since my note above I hadn't heard any other thoughts. And so have gone ahead with the move (As a hopefully relatively uncontroversial move where there is no clear primary topic. And, if there is a primary topic, it isn't/wasn't this relatively small/fluidly-defined part of Kildare). Closing thread. Guliolopez (talk) 14:25, 15 January 2020 (UTC)

- I've removed that text. As it was uncited/unsupported anyway. Ideally that sentence (listing amenities) would be supported by something... Guliolopez (talk) 16:13, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
