Jogging and Weight Loss
editJogging/Running is *not* great for weight loss - see http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061006072627AARyx8w
One needs to burn ~ 7709kcal to lose 1KG of weight; considering that one burns ~400-600 calories on a 40 minutes run, this makes running/jogging not suitable to lose any significant amount of weight. Running/jogging is good for cardiovascular health etc, not that great for weight loss.
I'm only making this remark and removing weight loss from the article because it says jogging is *excellent* for (among other things) weight loss, and that is incorrect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.22.17.158 (talk) 15:43, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
Split
editPlease consider separating this article into two articles. It's a primary topic under health and fitness, and the term is common in sports training. The use of the term in the context of employee development does not relate to physical fitness or sports training. Please consider adding an article such as Cross training (human resources) and moving the employee cross training information there. Thanks. --SueHay 21:35, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Cross-training. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20150417022519/http://www.appliedfightingmethods.com:80/jkd-concepts to http://www.appliedfightingmethods.com/jkd-concepts
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).
