I believe the correct spelling has an apostrophe: Crow's Nest, not Crows Nest - because of the signage seen when I lived there, because the local Crow's Nest school headmaster drummed it into me and my fellow students, and because the place was originally the home of Jimmy Crow, and hence the name being effectively "Jimmy Crow's nest". Does Wikipedia support apostrophes in page titles? Philu (talk) 11:46, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
- Well, tell the headmaster "citation needed!" :-) Take a look at citation 2 for the official place name. It has no apostrophe, probably because of this policy. You don't indicate the time frame when the headmaster told you, but it is possible that the official name has changed since then. Kerry (talk) 07:31, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
