Episode order

I think the information on the order is wrong -- it seems the two different orders are confused, with the airing order given as the preferred one and vice versa. Not only does "War Zone" pick up straight from "A Call To Arms" and introduces all the characters, many other episodes have broken references if watched in the so-called preferred order.

Additionally the linked page http://midwinter.com/lurk/countries/us/eplist.html#crusade shows the airing dates in the order it is listed as preferred here.

Hi I'm Terry Jones the compiler of the Babylon 5 Historical Database. The chronological order referred to here is incorrect and has been incorrectly repeated elsewhere, this is not what I established for the database that jms signed off on. The chronologically correct order of the televised episodes and the full but unproduced scripts (not story outlines) were as follows: War Zone, The Long Road, Appearances And Other Deceits, The Memory Of War, The Needs Of Earth, Racing The Night, Visitors From Down The Street, Each Night I Dream Of Home, The Path of Sorrows, Ruling From The Tomb, Patterns Of The Soul, The Well Of Forever, The Rules Of The Game, To The Ends Of The Earth, Value Judgements, End Of The Line.

All of this was in the Official Babylon 5 Magazine and the book Across Time and Space: The Chronologies of Babylon 5 B5historyman (talk) 21:28, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

But it's impossible for "Ruling from the Tomb" to come after "Each Night I Dream of Home". In "Ruling from the Tomb", Lochley and Gideon explicitly state that they are meeting for the first time ever. In "Each Night I Dream of Home", they explicitly state that they already know each other (in the last item under "Continuity problems" on the main page, someone explained that this dialogue was inserted into "Each Night I Dream of Home" as a voiceover, because "Each Night I Dream of Home" was originally going to be Lochley's first Crusade episode, until "Ruling from the Tomb" was made). So I'm afraid you ordered those episodes wrongly from a causal standpoint. I haven't read the Official Babylon 5 Magazine, but since "Ruling from the Tomb" was listed third under chronological order when I first saw this page a few years ago, I thought/hoped that order was given in the magazine and that it had been changed in Across Time and Space, which I own and know lists "Ruling from the Tomb" tenth. They are correct that the dialogue was redubbed in Each Night I Dream of Home, because that episode was the original introduction to Lochley in the Crusade stories. Seperate Episode List Page

I believe this article should have a seperate page for a more detailed episode list covering air dates and plot overviews and possibly even pictures. Despite the lack of a large number of episodes I think creating such a page would be a very good move. User:Tom walker 19:03 GMT 29 January 2006

In episode 10, the Apocalypse box isn't talking about Galen's activities in episode 3. It's talking about events that would have happened later in the series (in the scripts among others), namely that he wasn't booted out of the technomage order, but was infact put there by them intentionally.

TNT contract

The article says that jms believed that the interference was an attempt to get out of the contract. I could not find a source for this. I did a search using google. Does anyone have a web page saying that this was indeed his belief? Otherwise I think this should be removed and will probably do so in the next few weeks. Eiler7 18:01, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Episode notability

All of the episodes of this series fail the notability guidelines for television episodes. The way for these articles to be improved is through the inclusion of real-world information from reliable sources to assert notability. That is unlikely to happen, and these only have certain bad aspects (though all may not apply) like containing overly long or one sentence plot summaries, trivia, and quotes. Per that, they need to be a small part of this list.

If there are no objections, these will be redirected soon. Otherwise, discussion will take place here. Please remember that this is not a vote. If you like the information, that's fine and dandy, but your opinion doesn't really count towards anything. As long as the existing information is retained after the merge, and not just lost as is often the case. Do note that for B5, which is essentially the same universe as Crusade, all episodes have an article, and picture. I'd also prefer to see the articles brought up to standards instead of merged, but if they must be merged, it may make more sense to do so at a List of Crusade episodes, or something to that effect. I don't get it

If Each Night I Dream of Home "was originally to have introduced Lochley; a line of voice-over dialogue establishes that they had previously me", then why is it that Ruling from the Tomb has them introducing each other? I mean if the release order is problematic because it has broken references, than this intended order also has broken references. Uniforms are not Continuity Problem

The section about continuity problems is about the original air sequence in 1999 as stated in the article. Now in that sequence, the crew starts of with black uniforms and after 8 Episodes switches to the grey uniforms and wears them to the remaining episodes. So in that respect, there isn't a continuity problem and the article was simply wrong as it was written. 91.19.232.82 (talk) 18:49, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

When i said discuss i meant reach a consesus. It is noted across the JMS usenet posts, his comments on the DVD release and most recently in the Crusade: What The Hell Happened book series. The uniforms are a continuity issue especially looking at the nanovirus shield which was 'discovered' in episode ten (grey uniforms) but had already been used in episode 5 (black uniform). For more information see the Babaylon 5 Wiki page on the subjecthere. Stop continually deleting the information simply because you do not agree. Wikipedia is about co-operation and consensus. As a result of TNT showing the episodes out of their intended sequence, there are several continuity problems... - this statement means, that the article refers to continuity problems, regarding the sequence in which the Episodes were first shown, not regarding the production order or the creators preferred order. Yes there was the continuity problem with the nanovirus-shield, yes, Max Eilerson is bothered by the death of a crewman in "Appearances" but not anymore in the very next episode "Racing the Night". But when the uniforms were introduced in Episode 8 (of the original TNT broadcast sequence), they have not already been worn by the crew several episodes earlier! Absolutely not. Yes, they have been worn by them in the Production Cronology or the revised broadcast sequence, but not in the original TNT sequence, which started off with 8 Black Uniform Episodes, then came the uniform swap in "appearances" and then the 5 gray uniform episodes were shown. So, as it is written now, the article is false.
