Although I love the fact that you can find anything, such as this, on Wikipedia, is this article realy necessary? It seems to me that it is simply a definition.

I added the different types of Crustose, the colors crustose, morphology and where they grow best in because I thought it was interesting and it wasn't on the page already. Hopefully the addition of these facts will make the page seem more useful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ecar2918 (talkcontribs) 03:47, 22 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Contradictory?

Great depths in the intertidal zone? I think this should be subtidal, but not sure. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 07:05, 16 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Adjective or noun?

edit

Crustose is used interchangeably as a noun and adjective in the article. I have always understood it to be an adjective. I.e. there are crustose organisms, but no crustose. If there is anyone out there who can show otherwise, please do so, or I will rewrite to correct what appears to be a major grammatical error. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 04:32, 15 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
