Name

edit

i think the name of the article should be crystal defenders, and that a separate article should be created for the crystal guardians r1 for the wii--SquallLeonhart_ITA (talk) 14:14, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't see why the WiiWare version needs its own article, at least at this early stage. R1, and all versions of the game are fundamentally the same, so it makes sense to put them under the same article. However I have changed the title of the article, as more versions go by that name than the original name. Misterkillboy (talk) 02:25, 24 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

someone should add the ipod/iphone relese date for japan and eu too. --SquallLeonhart_ITA (talk) 14:57, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

The PS3 version (demo and full version) has been released on japanese PSN recently (I just played the demo), though I don't know the exact release date. --Darkstar (talk) 11:57, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The XB360 version was released on March 11th, as per the following URL: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/c/crystaldefendersxboxlivearcade/ Dfjdejulio (talk) 19:22, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

PS3 Release

edit

Im no writer, so i don't really want to put this in myself, but Crystal Defenders was put up on the EU PSN in the most recent update.

Jobs

edit

Why does it say FF Tactics A2, when the same jobs are in the PSP tactics release, and in the GBA version?

Refs

edit

Adding links to help this article get to at least C-class. I'll be adding refs here: Crystal Gaurdians

Hope this helps. Ill probably add these in myself soon enough.Lucia Black (talk) 04:21, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

This article is starting to look good. Hopefully soon I will be able to bring it upto B-class.Lucia Black (talk) 03:23, 18 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

avoiding edit war

edit

I learned my lesson in Life is strange. I undid my change [1] to avoid any possible edit wars. I don't know if anyone likes this version. if you do, I can bring it back. but I can take it or leave it.204.153.155.151 (talk) 13:52, 14 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

PresN In regards to the table. I think it made things too complicated, and I agree it should be removed. Do you think the W2 and W3 release dates should be mentioned for Crystal Gaurdians? Technically the game was episodic when it was first released if I researched correctly.Blue Pumpkin Pie (talk) 22:58, 23 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Blue Pumpkin Pie: It does mention them, unfortunately- somehow I managed to cram 9 dates into the second sentence of "Release", 3 for each of the 3 mobile phone variants it came out for. And I agree, the template was messy and huge. Still a lot of work to do on the article, but it's a bit smoother now. --PresN 03:13, 24 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • "the player is the choice of one" Likely "gets the choice" is intended?
  • "The series reuses tracks from" Tracks might not be the best word choice here, given we had previousily talked about tracks in terms of gameplay levels.
  • "though only the W1 and W1 chapters were released" Something's wrong here.
  • "Crystal Defenders Plus February 20, 2013" on seems to be missing
  • The Notes section could use referencing.

Courcelles (talk) 13:57, 11 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Courcelles: Fixed the grammar/wording problems, and added references to the note that wasn't just the Japanese title(s). --PresN 16:06, 11 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

iPod

edit

My edit which added iPod to the release sidebar was reverted as "iPod is covered under iOS". iPod OS and iOS are two distinctly different operating systems, and really shouldn't be branched under the same category.

XFuney (talk) 01:15, 8 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

So, the game was released for iPods/iPod Touches in December 2008; since September 2007 the iPod Touch ran iOS and not a separate iPod OS, which is what I was thinking of, but you are correct that the non-touch iPods never ran iOS. So, given that the cited press release specifically calls out an iPod version separately from the iPod Touch version, it must not have been iOS. Re-adding your change, sorry about that. --PresN 01:55, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
