Shitty?
editSo, hi. I added a quick reference (while not logged in) to their ficticious drummer "Shitty" (referenced at http://www.thecubanboys.co.uk/cuban_awol.htm, on the inside cover of Art vs Commerce and even in the lyrics to Patsy Prozac). This was removed, but I think "he" needs to be mentioned, as "his" electronic percussion loops are a very important part of the music!
Any thoughts on this, insofar as whether a reference to "Shitty" should be put back in, and what sort of verification source should be used?

Hi, anyone willing to wikify in my stead? Anyone even reading this? :-)
editHello, I'm one of the authors of various chunks of this entry... however I'm not much of a writer and merely an itinerant fan of the band, thus my style is pretty rubbish and I had to work hard to make it sound fairly official and not fawn too much, though reading back some months later I can see where it might be considered rather biased. Any professional wiki maintainers willing to step in and devote an hour of their time to tidying up a rather minor entry? Thanks...
Also new sites: www.cubanboys.info
New songs: Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man, Spooky, Claudine is Blue, etc
New (indie released) album on the way...
(edit: had a look back thru the history, seems there ARE a lot of people looking at and editing this so realised bigheadedness was maybe misplaced!
PS: But, that said... how come they're no longer considered Peel Sessionists? As they did a Peel Session, evidenced at the very least by Peel Session versions of tunes on their myspace (last i checked anyway)? Why did Spray's ninthwave affiliation get zapped? And... come on, Hampton IS far more annoying :D hehe)
Rewrite
editHi everybody. I just more or less rewrote the whole article. It now has a more neutral tone and in-line references. I still think it needs a bit of work. We could do with some more references. Please dive in and improve it where you can.
I have also made an album article for Eastwood but I recommend against making an album article for The Satellite junkyard as it is a self published CD and unlikely to meet the inclusion criteria. --DanielRigal (talk) 21:07, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
