Article Rename
editThis article should be titled Casino and from a Cuban perspective rather than Cuban Salsa and how it is perceived and "marketed" outside of Cuba. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Olsonist (talk • contribs) 17:41, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
Article Merge
editIt seems to me that perhaps this stub should be eliminated, since the referenced page at Rueda de Casino covers the topic in more detail ... just a thought - I'm new here! Nkovrig (talk) 04:40, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Merging is not appropriate, Casino style salsa is a one-on-one partner dance, while rueda involves a group of at least 2 couples. Also, there is plenty of information about casino style salsa on the Salsa (dance) article...so much, in fact, that most of the information on Casino in that article should be moved here instead. Cuban salsa is popular outside of Latin America too
editThis article is awfully Latin American-centric. Cuban salsa is not just popular there, it is also popular in Europe, the Middle East, and even in some places in the United States. I think the article should be revised to reflect that, and be more neutral toward the subject and not be so Latin American-centric. --Rumba y Son (talk) 21:16, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
