Commentary after deletion

Have found today that the major article Cultural Marxism had been redirected to a Conspiracy Theory subsection of the Frankfurt School article. I can only believe it to be a prank, since this article is/was substantial and it no longer has a talk page to view discussion. I have today, undone the redirect, and pasted the bulk of the text from an archived version and I will be rebuilding the links and references and citations. I have added more scholarly cites researched from scholar.google.com (google's scholarly publication search engine that returns vetted published results only). IF this was not done as a prank, and you wish to dispute the undo of the redirect, please cite the scholarly sources that demonstrate the theory of Cultural Marxism is not a subject of scholarly study, that it is not subtheory of Marxism, and that it is entirely a minor conspiracy theory based on the Frankfurt School, and that a conspiracy theory is its only meaning. Actually there was an AfD on the topic, and as it was a controversial deletion/redirect, three WP:UNINVOLVED admins were called on to decide what the consensus was. Their discussion can be found here, and part of the decision was to WP:SALT the previous article (the one you've now set your sights on recreating... and I suspect you've gotten around that WP:SALT by using Cultural marxism (lower case) as the page title rather than Cultural Marxism (upper case).

Also, asking people to prove a negative is kinda ridiculous on your part. You probably won't find any sources saying there are no dogs on the moon - that doesn't mean there are dogs on the moon. Whilst Cultural Marxism is a phrase that came up in academia in the 1960s and 70s, it was never well defined enough to be studied academically in of it's self. This was discussed during the AfD on the subject, for this reason the academic usage of the word does not pass WP:NOTABILITY, and the Right-Wing conspiracy usage of the word has been deemed WP:FRINGE and folded into the Frankfurt School page as a section there in. --Jobrot (talk) 11:41, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

This page should not be speedily deleted because a philosophical view cannot be simply discarded as A CONSPIRACY THEORY because you disagree with it --124.184.252.178 (talk) 14:05, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

Disgraceful deletion

The blatantly partisan deletion/redirect of this article is an absolute disgrace. Very, very sad to see Wikipedia so open to influence and large scale vandalism by biased editors.

Protected edit request on 1 September 2016

Sorry, never mind, I've since realized that all I've produced with my draft is a WP:COATRACK of The Frankfurt School, The Birmingham School, Cultural Studies and related thinkers. I highly suspect Cultural Marxism was just an early term for Cultural Studies (as Critical Marxism appears to be for Critical Theory)... so I'm dropping the edit request. Inappropriate Deletion

"Cultural Marxism" is a century-old concept that is widely identifiable and recognizable. It is found widely in academic literature and popular literature. It is a key part of the anglosphere zeitgeist and interacts with many adjacent social and political phenomena. Redirecting this page, about a real and influential thing, to a page denying its existence (60 years of clear and widespread literature is a conspiracy theory!) hurts the quality of this web site and speaks poorly of the quality of administrators. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.10.46.96 (talk) 21:38, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
