   The prose is not well written. It suffers from poor word choice, clumsy phrasing, lack of distinction between single and plural words, and lack of consistency in word use.

   Examples:

• Architecture exhibits various influences...
• Malaysian music has a variety of origins, and is largely percussion.
• Much early Malaysian literature was based on Indian epics, which remained unchanged even as Malays converted to Islam; this has expanded in recent decades.;
• Cuisine is often divided along ethnic lines, but some mixtures have occurred, creating unique dishes.
• Official holidays differ by state; the most widespread one is Hari Merdeka, which celebrates the independence of Malaya., but in the Holidays section we have The most widespread holiday is the "Hari Kebangsaan" (Independence Day), otherwise known as "Merdeka" (Freedom), Consistency is needed.
