Mona Vale
editWould whoever keeps adding Mona Vale as an end point please get their facts straight first? Metroad 7 has never run to Mona Vale - that's the role of Metroad 3. Rjbsmith 16:11, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- With Westlink M7 now open and Metroad 7 decommissioned (though the removal of signage seems to be happening slowly), does anyone know if the Cumberland Highway will be given a new route number? (Metroad or alphanumeric?). --Daveb 06:38, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think that it is correct to say that Metroad 7 has been decommissioned, because until a future link is built between the Hills Motorway and the Sydney - Newcastle Freeway, Pennant Hills Road will still be designated as Metroad 7. It would be more correct to say that the majority of the Metroad 7 has been decommissioned, or in the case of Carlingford to the M2, recommissioned as Metroad 6. Mdgr

- no M7 is the replacement but is not the same thing. If the M7 Western Sydney Orbital had been built before alphanumeric naming was decided on and had been given Metroad 7 I would say that it is the same thing. (58.173.41.16 (talk) 06:17, 29 October 2008 (UTC))
- I agree and beleive the M7 alphanumeric number should be removed. The article should be split into multiple sections. One to describe Metroad 7 as it is from the F3 to the M@ and a page on alphanumeric M7. We could then create a page either titled Cumberland Highway or somehow add a section to Metroad 7's article describing the decommisioned section. Also the cumberland highway will be A28 if I remember correctly Robotboy2008 (talk) 13:06, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Metroad 7 → Cumberland Highway – Metroad 7 will be decomissioned. Also the Westlink M7 has its own page, so this page should be only about the Cumberland Highway. Marcnut1996 (talk) 07:30, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

- Support This article is already about the entire Cumberland highway anyway so the move makes sense 124.168.177.19 (talk) 05:48, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
