This title should be a redirect to Quaternary glaciation
editI cannot find any evidence for usage of this term for an ice age going back 33.9 million year. On a search of "Current ice age" in Google Scholar, all the articles were about the Quaternary, and this article states that the current Ice Age is the Quaternary Ice Age, which in Wikipedia is called the Quaternary glaciation. I therefore propose that this article should be changed to a redirect to Quaternary glaciation. Dudley Miles (talk) 08:55, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
That's fine, but the referenced claim of beginning glaciation at 33 Ma should have been moved to the target page and not just blanked. --dab (𒁳) 06:58, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
- The start of Antarctic glaciation during the Eocene 33.9 million years ago is not relevant to the article about the Quaternary Ice Age which started 2.6 million years ago. Dudley Miles (talk) 18:02, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
