- "but Bella took three more days to intensify to tropical cyclone status, or with 10 minute maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometres per hour (75 miles per hour)." "or with" sounds odd here. Also, why are kph and mph spelled out? YE Pacific Hurricane 20:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- Units are supposed to be spelled out on their first usage. I'll cut the "or". ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- "The Joint Typhoon Warning Center unofficially estimated winds of 240 km/h (150 mph), the highest the agency estimated for any storm in the Southern Hemisphere in the year." what year? 2014? 1988? 1998? Remember, the title does not specify the year. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- Oops! I added the year. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- "About 1500 homes were damaged or destroyed" why no comma after the 1 in "1500"? Especially when you use a comma in this line: "leaving 1,000 people homeless". YE Pacific Hurricane 20:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- I went into a coma and forgot about the comma. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- "Similar to Cyclone Alison" link to Cyclone Allision's section. :P YE Pacific Hurricane 20:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- Sure! ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- "On January 13, the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC)[nb 1]" you link JTWC already in the lead. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- I usually link in both the lead and in the body of the article. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- "A 16,570 ton" metric conversion? YE Pacific Hurricane 20:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- The source didn't specify which type of ton it is (there is metric ton, imperial ton, the type of ton that Wiki calls tonne), so I don't think it's necessary. It was just a big freighter. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- You should note the JTWC uses 1 min winds and MFR uses 10 min winds. 20:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- I clarified in the article whether 1-min or 10-min. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC) ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
Otherwise, nice little article. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:22, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks! ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
