Storm duration
[edit]Once Gezani dissipates, the storm's duration can be added to the infobox. The distance between formation and dissipation can be temporary until the WMO verifies it. CycloneTheta (talk) 05:30, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

death in Madagascar
[edit]Someone should update the death toll in Madagascar to 62 dead, 13 missing and 804 wounded with this official reference. Pierre cb (talk) 14:04, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
Subtropical or Post-tropical
[edit]A post-tropical cyclone is an extratropical cyclone that used to be tropical, but if you look at the map it actually never became extratropical (besides when it formed.) That's why I think the infobox should say "subtropical" instead of "post-tropical." CycloneTheta (talk) 00:47, 22 February 2026 (UTC)
Repetition and Statistical Error
[edit]"In Inhambane, Mozambique, water services were cut off and 13,000 citizens were left without power; leaving four dead. According to the Mozambican meteorological service, gusts of 215 km/h were recorded and more than 130,000 people were left without electricity, according to the national supply company". Firstly, the statement "xxx citizens were left without electricity" was repeated twice in this extract. Secondly, is it 13,000 or 130,000 citizens who were affected and is this the result of a typo error or an error from the local meteorological service? Please rectify, thank you ~2026-30486-15 (talk) 01:39, 22 May 2026 (UTC)
