Updating this fish information
editA large amount of information on this fish is available on several websites that are used as Wikipedia sources. This article is quite skinny. It also has misleading information, stating that it is not a popular target, even though white trout are a very common, targeted, and popular catch amongst surf and pier fisherman along the East Florida and Gulf Coast. The maximum reported size of these fish is almost 24" on fishbase alone, and there are state records with even larger fish recorded, such as a 7 lb unofficially recognized state record out of West Florida. 198.90.104.65 (talk) 03:27, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
