Belgium or the Netherlands

edit

The article states...."especially during her stay in Belgium she had the opportunity to do research in the archives of The Hague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Emmerich, and Köln." None of these cities are in Belgium. They are all in the Netherlands. I'm sure she must have done some research in Brussels or Antwerp or Ghent or Brugge. We need to clarify this discrepancy for our reader. Any ideas?--Buster7 (talk) 03:33, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Surname

edit

I've found her listed variously as "Mc Leod" (in this article", "McLeod" and "MacLeod" (mostly on her listings in various bibliographies). The article also needs to have more reliable third-party references in English. I've found a couple of possibilities (one in Spanish, one in Dutch) but I need to move on to other things now and don't have time to get them translated.--Plad2 (talk) 07:24, 13 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I was bold and went with "McLeod" for now, as "Mc Leod" is highly irregular, and I can't see where it might come from. If there's established precedent, feel free to move it back. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 19:53, 20 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
