Very significant coverage of these 2 nations [1]. not to mention many Cypriots speak Greek as a result of long standing cultural and historial interactions. LibStar (talk) 05:58, 23 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Cyprus–Greece

edit

This article is missing so much vital information. The fact that Cyprus is something of a "puppet-government" of Greece. This is no big secret, the fact that, if given half a chance, Cyprus would join with Greece in nationhood. The relations of these two Greek nations are very deep indeed. Let's expand the article to include the many unique dynamics of the relationship of Cyprus and Greece. --68.89.235.247 (talk) 15:27, 19 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

I am afraid I will disagree with you. Cyprus isnt a puppet government of Greece and Greek-Cypriot relations cannot compare to Northern Cyprus' dependency on Turkey. The republic of Cyprus is recognized by over 200 countries, has its own diplomatic and trade relations in the region, and is member of all international organizations except NATO, and it is a much richer country than Greece and has a much better economy. That the two countries pursue common policies in the region and enjoy close relations =/= puppetry. However I agree that the article is missing vital information nevertheless. --SILENTRESIDENT 14:32, 11 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
