- Note: I've now bolded "Running" as it has become a GA, so if the first hook is selected, it would be a dual. Grk1011 (talk) 16:36, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Grk1011: Both articles recently created / promoted to GA, well referenced, with no close paraphrasing from the English language sources. The original (double) hook is interesting and the singer's ancestry is cited in the Cyprus article to a Greek language source. Just waiting on two QPQ reviews and this will be good to go. 97198 (talk) 07:45, 14 May 2020 (UTC)
- @97198 and Grk1011: If this is still needing QPQs, you can have two from my reviews. Nice hook and articles, by the way. Kingsif (talk) 23:26, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
- Oh my.. It's been almost decade since my last nomination. I had no idea what QPQ meant above! I just assumed it meant this was waiting on one more person to take a look. I will try to review some tomorrow to satisfy the requirement. Grk1011 (talk) 02:48, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Grk1011 and Kingsif: I am donating two QPQs. --evrik (talk) 05:43, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

- Not sure what "was internally selected by the" means. Do you mean without a public vote?
- "It's best" -> "Its best"
- "has managed to qualify for the final in all of the contests it has participated in" ->"has qualified for the final of all the contests in which it has participated."
- ", Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) " overlinked but you've already abbreviated it so just use that.
- "German singer Sandro" previously referred to as "Greek-American-German singer Sandro " and not sure you need to call him German when you go on to say he was born in Germany...
- "2012 entrant Ivi Adamou " sea of blue.
- "Season 5" no need for capital s.
- "considered.[11][12][9]" reorder refs.
- " Rotterdam, Netherlands and " comma after netherlands.
- "May, and a final " -> "May followed by a final"
- "charged with staging" -> "responsible for"
- "tenth in a field of 14" "10th in a field of 14" or "tenth in a field of fourteen".
- Ref 10 has two spaced hyphens, they should be en-dashes.
- Overall, and I know this is a problem with a number of such "cancellation" articles, there's not a huge amount of this article dedicated to this year's (aborted) event. I have my own example, The Boat Race 2020 which does cover historical issues, but has much more dedicated to the specific year event.
I'm concerned over the final point, the others can be addressed relatively easily, so it's on hold. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 13:23, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
- I've made all of the changes you've requested. I opted to remove "internal" from the lead as it's explained in further detail later in the article. Regarding your last point, there are a number of other alternative events (that are not mentioned) in planning that I could easily add as more information becomes available. At some point I will also be able to add a sentence or two about whether Sandro will be the Cypriot entry the next year. I don't think these omissions arise to the level of calling the article "incomplete", but there are opportunities for more to be written at a later time if need be. - Sure, I think it's adequate for GA and I'm happy with the changes you've made, so I'm promoting. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 07:44, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
