editEntwistle commanded the 235th Siege Battery of the Royal Garrison Artillery, and it seems known what that unit did in from 1916 to 1918: [1]. But that is not a reference that can be used here.

- Hello Charles. Thank you for the ping. I will try and find time to look. One place references might be found is in the coverage of his election to parliament after the war. There were a number of these soldier-veterans-turned-MPs, and maybe their wartime activities were mentioned. But sometimes the sources are thin on this (at least ones we can use).
