Cytochrome c in evolutionary analysis?
editAnyone have any objection to adding a section on the use of cytochrome c in evolutionary and taxonomic analysis? Given the importance of the technique it is arguably relevant to this article. do you have any futher information about the catalytic activity as hydroxylation, aromatic oxidation etc.?
Do you know, how to determine spectrofotometrically the oxidation state of cyt c?

Role in low level laser therapy (LLLT) / Photobiomodulation Cytochrome c is also suspected to be the functional complex in so called LLLT: Low-level laser therapy. In LLLT, red light and some near infra-red wavelengths penetrate tissue in order to increase cellular regeneration.
