DNA results found on a web page aren't reliable

edit

Anyone can put anything on a self-published web page. Scientific results, or for that matter any conclusion someone throws up on a web site, are not considered reliable and noteworthy until they have accepted and repeated by an source that applies some level of quality control (peer review, editorial fact-checking) and is independent of the person reaching the conclusion. Then, and not until then, is the time for Wikipedia perhaps to report DNA claims. 'Something I found on the web' is not included under what Wikipedia considers to be WP:Reliable sources.
