I can't see any plausible claim that this article meets CSD G11. The article describes a privately held company, but the tone of the description does not resemble advertising copy. Moreover, this company (and specifically its research papers) have been widely mentioned in scientific literature, and the company is of general notability.

Disclaimer: I consult for DEShaw Research myself, quite apart from being an active Wikipedian. I didn't write this article, but my familiarity with the company informs my judgement of its notability. LotLE×talk 20:43, 9 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
