Beat me to it
edit@Snickers2686 looks like you beat me to it, I've been trying to put together an article for him for a few days :) but thanks for creating it Philipnelson99 (talk) 04:32, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- One thing of note @Snickers2686, the sccourts.org website is not in the public domain.
Philipnelson99 (talk) 04:35, 14 February 2023 (UTC)All materials, unless otherwise noted, are Copyright © 2023 by the South Carolina Judicial Department.
If you don't mind I'm going to try to flesh out the legal career section and cover the notable cases he worked as a lawyer and presided over as a judge. Hopefully I can get it to C class or better! Philipnelson99 (talk) 05:02, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
DOB is in source
edit@Snickers2686 The justice's DOB is clearly given in the source on page 186. Please check cited sources before marking them as failing verification. Philipnelson99 (talk) 00:38, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Philipnelson99: I know how to check sources. What you've cited is only 126 pages and Hill is NOT mentioned in this source. Snickers2686 (talk) 06:07, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- I linked the incorrect source, it wasn't super difficult to find with a google search. I know where to find source materials, I just have about 20 of these on my computer and copied the link to the wrong document. https://www.scstatehouse.gov/JudicialMeritPage/TranscriptPublicHearingsDec2003.doc

- Link to source for clarity. Philipnelson99 (talk) 00:40, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
For what it's worth I think the highest office held needs to be the first thing after the subject of the article's name. WP:CONTEXTBIO is superseded by WP:ROLEBIO and in this case the highest office would be relevant enough. Philipnelson99 (talk) 00:43, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
